Owing to that, the car was chased and fired, and subsequently, the car stopped at the intersection of Inzauk Road and the driver ran into a nearby billiard shop,” said a local witness.

It is said that the two drivers escaped into the rubber forest in the west of the billiard shop. The local witness added that U Myo Zaw Lat, aged around 37, was in the yard and hit by a bullet, and died while they were chasing and shooting at the two motorists.

“When the two motorists entered the shop, they were scared and shouted to run, and so everyone ran after them. While all the people were running, the PDF shot from behind and hit the wrong person. The person who died is returned to his village for a while,” he said.

According to the locals, the man who was shot was a native of Mya Khar Pat Village in Launglon Township and lived near the Dawei Expressway Bus Terminal.
