In Karen State, Kloud reported that 3 military soldiers were killed when a drone attacked the military council ambushed near the bridge of KawtNwe Village in Kawkareik Town.
Kloud, Angry Bird Drone Ranger, Power of Ababil(POA), and multirotor forces attacked with 3 drones toward the military council force that was wearing camouflage at KawtNwe Bridge on the morning of October 13th.
An official from the Kloud said that three troops of the military council were killed in the drone operation and there was returned fire with heavy weapons.
An official said,” The ambushes and marches were continuous from the military Council side. While our side dropped on them, they fired indiscriminately with heavy weapons. But fortunately, there was no harm from the side of People’s Defense Forces in such shootings”.
After being blasted by a drone, while the Military Council’s infantry regiment (97) and HlaingWa Artillery Hill fired back, an explosion occurred inside the school in Win Gyi Ward, killing one and injuring 2 reported by a student’s parent.
“The casualties were 3 girls, 4th grade children. Those 4th-grade children went out to buy drinks and snacks when the exam was over. Two of them were injured and one had her head, intestines, and legs split open. She died on the spot.” said a parent of a student.
The deceased were 12-year-old fourth-grade student Naw Moe Moe Aye and other 16-year-old Naw Su Yin Aye and 6-year-old first-grade student Naw Wei Wei Hnin were seriously injured.
Telegram channels supported by the Military Council have been spreading false statements mentioning instead of saying that the students were killed by heavy weapons fire from the military council, the deaths were caused by drone fire from the revolutionary forces.
Regarding the spread of false information by the Military Council, an official from Kloud said that the place where the drone bomb was dropped, was about a mile and a half away from the school, no drones were Hovering over the school, and the Revolution forces would not have harmed the civilians.
“Our drone didn’t even fly over the school. We heard that our drone fell on the school due to heavy fire from the military side, causing some students to be injured. The school is about a mile and a half away from where we dropped the bomb, and the plane flying back from this side did not even cross the school. We can’t accept the rumor that they are intentionally accused and we never did the civilians to be harmed,” he said.
In Karen State, the villages around Kawkareik town such as Kamaing Kone, Chaung Taung, Taung Kyar Inn, KawtNwe, Kaung Shar Kone, Ahpa Gyi, Thar Yar Kone, and Ywar Tan Shey, the situation between the military council army and the KNLA joint forces continues to be tense, as military council troops are marching by the following of Local News Sources.
