In Karen State, Kyar Inn Seik Gyi Township, Qulong Tai military camp, and a convoy sending ammunition, food, and soldiers, were attacked by dropping 200 large drone bombs, according to a statement from the Cloud Wings drone team.

Kwilong Tai military base Camp, stationed with a force of around 30 soldiers, was attacked on August 24th, and later than on September 6th, the 100-strong military council column that sent weapons, ammunition, and reinforcements from the Thai side not to lose the Kwilong Tai Camp was attacked by over 200 bombs for 20 days until September 14, said Ko Nyein, the secretary of the Cloud Wings Drone Team.

“The main shooting on the ground is occasional. The main purpose of this entire operation is the drone mission. That’s why more than 200 bombs were used along all the places where they are, where they cross the river, where they are at the camp, and the drone mission is the main reason in this battle,” he said.

He added that because the Military Council’s Kwilong Tai base camp was attacked, at least 10 soldiers of the Military Council’s forces were killed and many were injured, but the Kwilong Tai base camp has not been captured until now.

“There used to be about 30 soldiers in this Kwilong Tai camp, but now there are only 20 left. The people in that camp can neither leave nor enter and are still trapped. As usual, and still left around 20 of their wounded soldiers and the rest of them, but we have not been able to capture the camp of Kwilong Tai. We have been blocking and attacking the Kwilong Tai military base camp from August 23/ 24 until now, but Kwilong Tai has not yet fallen,” he said.

Additionally, the KNLA Joint Forces were able to capture the entire camp of the military council army along the Thai-Myanmar border, and seized weapons and ammunition on September 14, according to the Karen National Union (KNU).

In Karen State, from July, August, and until September, five townships except for Hpa-An and Hlaing Bwe townships where the military council was stationed, departmental offices, an intercepting attack on the military council convoy, and bombardment by drones attacks continued, according to a statement by the KNLA joint forces.
